             abstract = "This research discusses the conservation of wild species, 
                         specifically Hyacinthine Macaw. This one is part of the group of 
                         threatened species of extinguishing, pressured for the uncovering 
                         landscapes and for the illegal commerce of wild animals. The 
                         strategies of conservation of biodiversity relate the relation 
                         between the conservation of the ecossystem and the conservation of 
                         the species.Thus, to conserve Hyacinthine Macaw, it is necessary 
                         to conserve those habitats, to know this environmental in its 
                         characteristics. This article search to be mapping the areas of 
                         potencial occurrence of Hyacinthine Macaw, using the 
                         geotechnologies to identify vegetation, topography, hidrography, 
                         soil and relief characteristics that can possible built an 
                         adequate environmental to the survival of the specie. The 
                         processes of the geographical information includes raster and 
                         vector formats: the production of a Digital Terrain Model (DTM), a 
                         Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and thematics maps 
                         of vegetation, soil and use of the land. The final synthesis 
                         summarizes the relations between the attributes, delineating the 
                         areas that the environment of Cerrado provides the potencial 
                         occurrence of Hyacinthine Macaw.",
